the Lassen Peak
eruption devastated the
surroundings volcanic ash raining
down miles around one of the most powerful
explosions sometimes built on the craters of former
eruptions lava domes can produce violent episodes of highly
viscous layers. Sometimes breaking open an old crater injecting

water vapour pulverised rock and pumice into the stratosphere chemical reactions that increase the earths albedo particles
of red hot meteorite can be dangerous to aircraft burning
holes in the body the volcanic ash drawing up more
heat from the earth overheating the atmosphere
volcanistic mantle plumes rising up as hot
spots magma from the core deep in
the earth sometimes where
tectonic plates are in
collision

volcanic
earthquakes
occur when magma
is injected or withdrawn
from fissures if this is sustained
can produce alot of earthquakes and volcanic

tremor crystals form in the chamber and
volatile compounds precipitate into
bubbles. When pressure reaches
a critical value volatile
magma breaches the
chambers roof
